These terms cover use of SEO Change Ledger, a Shopify app operated by Valdura Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Installing the app means you accept them.
The app monitors the SEO markup your storefront renders, records what changes and what caused it, and — where you ask it to — restores markup that was removed.
The app never edits your theme files. Repairs are delivered through a Shopify theme app extension, which adds tags to your pages without modifying your theme. Disabling the app embed in your theme editor, or uninstalling the app, removes every repair cleanly and leaves your theme exactly as it was.
Repairs are applied only when you choose to apply them, unless you switch on automatic repairs in the app settings. The one exception is that a repair which starts producing duplicate markup — because your theme began emitting the same tag again — is switched off automatically, since leaving it on would harm your SEO.
Search rankings and traffic depend on Google, on your competitors and on many factors outside this app. The app can tell you what changed on your pages and restore markup that went missing. It cannot guarantee a ranking, a traffic level, or that a repair will produce a specific outcome.
The app reports what it can observe. Some causes — an edit made directly in the theme editor that does not change a file, for example — are outside what it can see, and it says so rather than guessing.
Paid plans are billed through Shopify on a 30-day recurring basis, following a 14-day free trial. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the app; changes take effect through Shopify's standard proration.
The free plan monitors your homepage and one template and has no charge and no time limit.
You may not use the app to monitor storefronts you do not own or operate, and you may not attempt to interfere with its scheduling or fetching behaviour.
The app is provided as-is. We aim to keep it running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid for the app in that period.
You can uninstall at any time from your Shopify admin. Billing stops at the end of the current period and your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
If these terms change materially, active users are notified by email before the change takes effect.
